Digital Preservation

The New Marlborough Historical Society, the non profit organization dedicated to the preservation of New Marlborough History and to the dissemination of historical information, has begun a project to inventory and digitize its large collection of New Marlborough artifacts, photographs and documents. Under the expert guidance of the professional archivists and society volunteers Rachel Weingeist and  Jeff Wallman, artifacts and documents will be inventoried and then digitized so that their images and descriptions will be available online on the New Marlborough Historical Society website for everyone to see. Each month we will share one of these fascinating historical artifacts.
